For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. – Romans 3:23
The most important decision in your life will be whether you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. You must choose forgiveness and a relationship with God. This begins with repentance and turning away from your sins and old life to a new life in Christ. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. – 2 Peter 3:9
You may think that you need to fix things or make things right in your life before you come to Christ. And many people feel that way, but it’s not true! God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8
You will be saved by the grace of God, not because you try to make things right in your life. He wants you to accept this salvation because He loves you! It is not something to be earned … it is a free gift. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. – Ephesians 2:8-9
For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. – John 3:16
